Great company to work for. However the focus is more on servicing clients and getting the job done by any cost which leaves very less room for employee appreciation or care and consideration for employees.

It is a busy and complex environment that requires full attention, maturity and quality service.
The complexity about the job is that most of the time forms/letters that we use for our clients changes and the sometimes the instruction is not clear so to enable to fulfil the instruction and we are not dealing with instructions with the similar senario.

The company is moving in a vibrant and youthful way. It looks good after it's employees if their employees does their work hard. Management is vast and varies from individual to individual however in most cases management are fair and follows procedure and has an open door policy.
Barclays Africa is trying to integrate working agile into the working environment making it easier to work together and collaborate. It is fun and exciting and the work space is interesting.
There can be a lack of support from certain areas depending on staffing issues etc. However the cultural acceptance and diversity is very good and it is comfortable to work together as South Africans.
