Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of our work. Leveraging our global footprint and extensive resources, we make a lasting difference to many of today’s social and economic challenges.
Through our pro bono work we contribute to peaceful negotiations, protect the persecuted, advise on environmental projects and guide government policy.
Diversity is a cornerstone of our culture. We believe an inclusive workplace gives clients true insight and exceptional service. This isn't only good for business, but the right thing to do.

Like the culture and environment of the office. Can be challenging and stressful but senior attorneys and management are supportive and helpful. Good leadership.

The lawyers at Baker McKenzie are top quality -- professionally and personally. There is a reason most trainees never leave. Unfortunately, the practice support side is not well managed. Led by a BDM Head who is guilty of both overt favouritism and political machination, the team has seen a haemorrhaging of top talent recently, and will need to take active measures to retain quality people. Advancement is based on an opaque system where it depends heavily on being in favour with business support leadership. Quality of performance and peer reviews mean little if the person at the top doesn't like you personally. NOT a way to run a business and the lawyers deserve MUCH better.
