In the contact centre it is 12 or more hours

More than 24 hours cause they reduce the employees hours if they exceed 24 and more hours

I suppose the hours are flexible. Some departments have a straight 9 or 10 shifts and other departments there are shift rotations which at times work when you don't have anything important to do. I would say to have spend 10 hours away from home everyday gets a bit too much after a few years because your lifestyle changes and I feel that it's time for a change. The net salary is disgusting for the amount of work 1 has to do and the amount of stress 1 also has to deal with on a daily basis.
