Probably the most beautiful hotel I have worked in in KwaZulu Natal. But very stressful as the standard are very high and the management a bit intolerant. You either learn and adapt fast or you will be in the position of not feeling apt do your job. Cross training part of their culture so strong individuals should apply for positions available.
The Front Office team is divided in very helpful individuals willing to train new comers, but also some of the staff can be very mean and ignorant to what they are supposed to do as a team.
The management is doing a good job but sometimes not being fully aware of their staff needs or requirements.
Overall, I enjoyed being there as I delivered good results.
lunch included, beautiful environment, world class service, rubbing shoulders with celebrities.
high stress level, staff that are not willing to work in a team or preferential treatment by the management.
