I was a learner and the exposure i got was very baluable. I gained finance experience especially in the creditors management environment. The culture was vibrant and enabling given the fact that Sandvik is an international company. Room for growth was a reality. Remuneration was still below par given that i was absorbed as a learner.
I think sandvik is good company compare to other.i enjoyed working for sandvik.i believe I gained more experience since I joined the company.they take good care of their employees and train them so that they do better and also empower them so that obtain leadership position in the company
CSSR (Current Employee) - Jet Park, Gauteng - 10 December 2019
The job that I do is more balanced and also challenging
Mining industry is a very critical and challenging industry and dealing with customers who always need service urgently ,makes me to be flexible and also extra hard working .
I enjoy working with customer and having meetings with them to build relationships . The Salary I receive is fair for the years I have worked here. We also receive performance bonuses every April . There is also job security ,though growing is a challenge . The job culture of Sandvik teaches us to work as a team and also be pro-active always

Build underground drilling and mining equipment. Learned about the operation and maintenance of this equipment. Management is friendly and approachable. Workplace morale was low at times, and inter departmental relationships were weak. Most difficult part of my job was documenting the development of the projects I oversaw. I enjoyed the experience and recommend Sandvik as a worthwhile place of employment.
I enjoyed working at Sandvik. I worked there for 6 years and completed many projects in Zimbabwe. I was responsible for all electrical and instrumentation drawings. I preformed all Factory Acceptance Tests. I was also involved will site commissioning.
I was retrenched when Sandvik was brought by FL Smidth.
Enjoyed my stay at Sandvik.
Followed trough all projects from start to finish.
That was company dealing with mining stock items, also demanding concentration be able to planning, organise, lead and control your work. No room for picking error especially when picking for a break down since there's too much cost involve.rather delay picking while seeking for clarity than wrong picking.long hours when it's pick time and overtime indeed will be requested, good management from the senior management which made it easier for resources on the floor together with supervision
