Everything was ok and sometimes we work together overtime to cover all the work you performed during the week.During shutdown we work excessive hour because we trained more than 1000 workers in three weeks time for preparations

During my typical workday, I commence with a green area safety meeting , check for notifications on SAP system that need approval ,submit completed job cards, check for job cards for the day and delegate work to my colleagues and myself.

I served as a Contractor in what I experienced as a Productive and stimulatingly challenging place to work in. A typical work day involved consulting with clients on Labour matters within their business units and assisting in the conducting of a disciplinary inquiry internally or with a Bargaining Council. The culture is dictated largely by striving to live the Sasol values. The hardest part of the job is seeing people being dismissed for transgressions they could have avoided by simply adhering to their sense of integrity. The most enjoyable part of the job was being allowed to exercise my discretion in assisting managers to manage better, to make focusing on the welbeing of people and encouraging them to perform to the best of their abilities in a conducive environment.

i enjoy working at sasol, as a shift worker i work 5 days for 12 hours, then i can rest for another 5 days, then work 5 days and rest 4 days or work 4 days and rest for 5 days. with this kinds of shifts called the 4/5 shifts, employees can rest enough and it gives time for those who are studying or working towards achieving other things because it provides enough rest days
