I'd make sure that I know what ESL companies want in a really great teacher. Most of our clients are looking for kids tutors who able to make an impact on young learners. Make sure too that your computer's working well, the internet connectivity is not problematic, the lighting in your work area is conducive to teaching and that the headset you use is of good quality. Also, be yourself.

For homebased work, we ask our tutors to register online so that we can alert them to great opportunities with our clients. We don't require a resume or any documentation as the applicant will submit these to the client they're matched with and agree to work for.

Should you want to work at our teaching centre in Cape Town, you will have to submit your resume and qualification. You will meet our recruitment specialist for an initial interview and if that goes well, you will have a final interview with our Centre Manager.
