Daily Schedule Varies With Daily Demands

I personally have been extremely developed and capacitated in terms of the general finance department daily functions.

With regards to management, the HOD's have and have portrayed different management styles and have obtained a graet deal of experience especially from working with The Chief Financial Officer, a very diligent, approachable, purpose-driven and knowleadgeable Superior I have ever worked with,
who manages interpersonal relations strategicalIy for the maintenance of a solid unit and the organisation at large since our section (Finance)is the Council's backbone I have learnt a lot from working in the Office Of The Former Executive Mayor , and got to experience the political feel of things and its dynamics and impact whether negetive or positive but he was a very humble public personality able to manage diversity and amicable resolution of conflicts which were his strongest traits,

Co-workers have different personalities but calls for one to be able to be level headed and Ethics driven especially in our very own unit Supply Chain Management a very demanding atmosphere whether ethically and strategical to avoid certain risks especially corruption based. One earns both friends and foes for reasons some unknown and some evident which is the hardest part of the job because some would detest you for being frank with the in terms of compliance rgulations governiing the entire SCM operations

the most enjoyable part of the job is being able render and or meet your KPI's & KPA's in terms of excllent service delivery and solving problems amicably.
Most of thetimes we do work long hours due to the logistical demands by the requesting departments

A typical day at work consists of getting into the office and compile specifications for tenders, draw quotation documents, phone suppliers for quotations, generate orders from the financial system. I learned that if I carry my duties properly, I am satisfied. I do not wait or seek any compliments for the job well done because I know I won't get any. Management is always on your case but if you do your job properly they normally does not have anything to pick on you about. Co-workers are fun people to be around. The hardest part of the job is when you make an honest mistake and you judged and given a written warning without being given a chance to explain yourself. Is when I meet with my co-workers after work and play netball and when we travel together for a netball game in another town.
i drive only 2kms to work
