As fitness consultant you need to have qualifications in order to be able to get a job, must be able to talk to people, be able to assist others, by knowing your target of interest, Sports specific you should be able to consider different Individuals with different needs by understanding and knowing your client needs now that is where the anatomical, Physiology, Psychology. Kinetic, Nutrition, Sports specificity plays a role, because you have to recommend expertees of good quality exercise program that suits individual need and eating plan that would motivate the activity. Be able to spot a certain level of intensity to a minimum level needed by that particular person.

You need to firstly have a qualification within the field. Know sports, knowing the anatomy and how it works, knowing the physiology about the body in order to recommend the safest course of action for members with disabilities or injuries to take when exercising and also knowing how to prevent injuries from occurring or reoccurring (which will also be taught along the way).
You need to be a people's person who can handle individuals and groups. You need to be calm and patient.
