Abysmal place to work, began to feel very unhappy in such an unprofessional and unpleasant workplace.
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) –  Cardiff24 May 2019
Well, Webhelp, where do I start? The lack of support, and the lack of common courtesy for their employees is ridiculous. Management is absolutely pathetic, why hire a real manager when you can take advisors offline and pay an advisor salary? Managers are there to manage teams but it’s quite apparent they do whatever they want, and quite frankly do not care. You ask a member of management a question, and you’re looked at as though you’re from another planet. Treated like dirt. As for operations managers, they have no clue about processes in regards to the job, all they care about is stats. They had the audacity to offer drug tests in work but would not undergo one by themselves, personally, I think they need one. They should also focus more on their employees than their drug habits, some people find it hard to cope in that place and they couldn’t care less. Pay is always messed up, salaries are contradictory. No one knows where they stand with bonus, shifts are all over the place. Absolutely shocking, and I’m appalled at how some advisors have been treated. Many advisors worked incredibly hard to progress, and was promised they would. But, when it came to them finally being able to progress, management failed to be able to give them a valid reason as to why they won’t allow them to do something different, and progress at a so called “career” at webhelp. Office is absolutely filthy, and there is no organisation.
Pros
City centre location
Cons
Management, unfair processes, salary, filthy office.

Always mess up pay

An exciting work place with lots of lovely colleagues, quite stressful due to the job description and being in the billing section of a company. Good benefits and a nice work space

Tempted to use the word "dishonest" in this review. After thinking about it a bit more it's probably not a deliberately deceitful company, they're just plain incompetent.
Pros
It is employment
Cons
This company have literally no idea how to run an operation

place is absolutely horrible.
Advisor (Former Employee) –  Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire10 April 2019
Webhelp, or Webhell as it is known by the vast majority is a HORRIBLE place to work. you are given no recognition for any of your work. you work ridiculous hours with no option to opt into semi decent hours unless you have a doctors note. if you are absent you HAVE to provide a doctors note or you have the possibility of getting sacked. the place is like Eastenders to which everyone (thinks they) know everyone’s business and business is spread in the place like wildfire. the managers are all useless besides maybe 3 tops. you are promised all sorts of ability to be promoted when the truth is you are just a mere brick on the webhell wall with no way of being promoted higher when strangers can walk into the job and get manager jobs straight away.
the ONLY good thing about webhell kilmarnock is that SOME (a mere few) of the other people you work with are sound.
Pros
some agents who work there.
Cons
Everything.

The amount of work you do is not recognized, instead, if you do things to show others or be a good guy with managers you are appreciated and recognized. If you are late for a few minutes it's noted but if you continue the call even after the shift that not seen or marked as extra whereas lateness will be mentioned in your schedule with the exact time.

Campaigns get changed with a months notice, sometimes resulting in a loss of bonus which can make the amount you make monthly drop a few hundred pounds. There are a few great managers but also some horrible... customers tend to get violently on the phones if your working the bright house campaign, shop and vending machines are overpriced.
Pros
1 Saturday off a month
Cons
Hours chop and change at the drop of a hat

Honest review
Debt Advisor (Current Employee) –  Sheffield, South Yorkshire25 March 2019
I write this review less about the role and more about the Webhelp company. This is because the roles may change over the time but the way the company treats their staff doesn't.

PROGRESS
They claim they care about progress, you will do more work but receive no higher wages. They throw all the work at you with little training time and expect it to work somehow.
Even if you ask for opportunities they dont tell you all of them, it depends who you know as-well.

COMPANY TREATMENT TO STAFF
Every change this company has made cause nothing but more stress and work for the advisors. they are milking every patience and hard work they can get from you.
place where i worked went from around 100 people to around 50 in 1 year because of the terrible way they do around here.
Its like they have a limit on how happy people can be and then make changes that cause people to be unhappy such as :

• bringing in worse user system because its cheaper
• forced seating arrangements
• brought "new" computers which were slower then previous
• blocked entire internet usage
• promises of monthly incentives which doesn't get rewarded
• barely get any incentive overtime
• ignoring of staff complaints and request
• took away staff recreation room to create office

LITERALLY every single change ranging from system, incentives, management, treatment of people, progress and flexibility is going downhill and worse of all they are manipulating people by lying that they are listening to them.

The company who was here before treated their staff vastly better and more respect. webhelp is
more... a company that likes to sell as if it cares but realistically they don't.
- If you were to get stuck on a call at the end of your shift you don't get paid for this extra, you do get time to leave early on another day

PROS
• they pay on time
• Perks at work is free and gives many offers such as half price cinema tickets
  less
Pros
colleagues are great, perks at work has allowed me to save lots of money
Cons
system, incentives, management, treatment of people, progress and flexibility

CONTACT CENTRE ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) –  glasgow, hope street19 March 2019
webhelp Glasgow is fun and if I have the chance ill probably go to work there
I have learned to be more interactive and so all my mangers have been fun and easy to get along with.
its a strict and no nonsense policy. the hardest thing will be that fact that some mangers will not allow you finish your statement especially when you have escalations from customers aside that the guys are so much fun and everyone is also willing to help out no matter how little.
Pros
good working environment
Cons
salary was never consistent, always fluctuating evey month

Disgusting
Sales (Former Employee) –  Dearne Valley, Rotherham28 February 2019
It had it's highs and lows. Unfortunately a lot more lows than highs. I worked there for 2 and a hakg years and Webhelp is the worst place I've worked when it comes to wage payments. There was ALWAYS something missing whether it be part of your commission that was taken away (never to be seen again) or whether they'd just screwed up your hours yet again.
One time I was even sent my p45 in the post for no reason other than someone putting the wrong name while processing someone as leaving.

2 and a half years and the pay issues still remain. I've left and I'm still fighting for money owed!
Pros
The people are good
Cons
Payments are never right, new bonus payments are unrealistic, management are disorganised, each week brings a new and inventive way to screw you over

A hole that is hard to get out of
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) –  Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire23 January 2019
I have now been working here for 11 months. This has been the worst 11 months of my working life. At first it was great, training all hunky dory and they promised this was the most amazing place to work! in 11 months I have worked in 3 different departments and have had 5 different managers. You are just seen as a number and are expected to perform with amazing stats and reviews from customers about the company consistently. The client is Vodafone. Team leaders are useless and the ops managers sit on their computers all day and only speak to you when they are desperate for performance to improve, getting paid over 30k a year for doing nothing. You as a person are not cared about nor will your personal circumstances ever come into consideration, this place will wreck you mental health. please avoid

Managers had no consideration for staff if you met targets and sucked up to them they liked you if you didn't there was no support and they would try and get you out of the business as quickly as possible following the "rules" completely unethical.

Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) –  Derby, Derbyshire4 January 2019
My overall experience at webhelp was disappoitning, day to day tasks were never too strenuous but disliked working there because it was clear as daylight who the favourites were and how behaviours were overlooked. Management are highly unproffesional and do not care for their staff at all. Training for all types of roles are absolutely abysmal and does not help with the roles at all, no support from managers

Trying to get ime off was near enough impossible and was never explained, coaching was few and far which was about as insightful as watching paint dry.

The sytems are poor, outdated and not maintained.

There was a clear divide of those who did work and those who did nothing. The ones who did not work tended to be more favoured by management as they became too friendly them and often just sat chatting.

The only thing that made the day tolerable was having a handful of genuinely pleasant agents around you that would stop you from feeling like you was going insane.

Do not even consider working here. The management behave like bullies in primary school even physically attacking junior members of staff at an event evening!! In ten months payroll still could not get wages correct and to date still have not received monies owed. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy..
Pros
colleagues minus management
Cons
Could not organise a party at a brewery
