Wouldn’t work there unless your desperate
Campaigns get changed with a months notice, sometimes resulting in a loss of bonus which can make the amount you make monthly drop a few hundred pounds. There are a few great managers but also some horrible... customers tend to get violently on the phones if your working the bright house campaign, shop and vending machines are overpriced.
Pros
1 Saturday off a month
Cons
Hours chop and change at the drop of a hat

Awful
Webhelp was an awful company to work for, poor management and communication, if ever you needed help we’ll good luck finding someone, they expected you to go above and beyond but couldn’t help if you needed some time off. They weren’t very understanding regarding my mental health and having suffer with panic attacks got rid of me as I was too much of a risk to the business

Soul destroying
Its colleagues that keeps you going. The management dont care about you. Extremely disrespectful and speak to you like children. Ops managers will phone you and demand you come into work if call in sick. I had a cousin die and my son taken to hospital same week. Cancelled overtime and had manager call me to say I had to go in or face disciplinary!! No consideration for agents well being or home life

Webhelp uk ( kilmarnock )
At Webhelp a typical day would find you assisting a variety of customers who used Vodafone as their mobile phone provider.
Over 10 year period that I worked there, I learned the importance of being very patient with customers.
Pros
Reasonable wage, good collegues and managers
Cons
long hours

Not worth your health
Webhelp is a joke of a company. Not had my payslips for about 8 months and nothing has been done still.
They will hire anyone and anything just to fill up seats and get to delivery.

Do not care for they employees. Constant system errors and when it’s brought up your spoke about amongst other managers. Not professional in the slightest.

You just get constant abuse from customers and that’s not worth it. They’ll make any excuse not to give your bonus.

Constant issues with payroll..

I have been at Webhelp Kilmarnock since 2017. Since the start i have always felt that you have never been appreciated for the amount of work you do, coming in for a shift and getting moaned at by TL’s and getting rude remarks when you have been in after call for 1 minute?? Yet they expect you to do so much in so little time. I feel in kilmarnock the only way to get anywhere is to suck up managers ar***. Also if you have a customer who is wanting to speak to a manager 90% of the time they will not take it. Feel like its a terrible place to work in as the stress of customers shouting and swearing at you 24/7 for following the business rules can really have an impact on someones mental health. Have no social life aswell in there would stay clear and would never tell anyone to apply
Pros
Agents you work with
Cons
Rude TL’s. Poor management. Dont realise you can have an off month

Its a job
It's good if you need a job. But I wouldn't bother.
Have been there for 2.5 years. Left in the last few weeks.

The organisation of it all is so shocking.

The work/social balance is non existent. The hours are so sporadic and the shifts are long. 8-7pm at the beginning of the week. Shifts sometimes are 9-7:30 or 10:30-8.

The pay is good if you compare it to other jobs out there but still isn't enough for the lack of communication ;you mostly hear about things though word of mouth.

In terms of call quality they'll find anything to fail your call on from actual detriment to a customer to sighing on a call.

The people there are amazing..and it's what keeps you there for so long. But it will drive you mad.

And oh in the time I was there, 36 people that I know of have come and gone. Turn over is high

The restaurant isn't subsidised rather more expensive than high street. Bottle of coke is £1.55. Sweets start at a £1 for chocolate bar.
Pros
The people are alright
Cons
Long hours.

Stay clear!!!
Really really poor place to work, hours and times are non-negotible, no time for your family life, if you have a mental health condition that could affect you, Don't disclose it, they will not support you, and definitely make you feel unwelcome, if they can they will use it against you to build a case to dismiss you, if they don't like the look of your face, you will be gone by the end of the day, no warning, no proof, no nothing, some team leaders are ok, others are arrogant and will make accusations against you! To make themselves look better, you can only make 8.25 a hour the lowest rate of any call center.

Apply if you have a deathwish
Worked here for 11 months. Management awful. Team leaders awful. They knew nothing about the job but tried to tell us where we was going wrong!! Training was terrible, the only time you learned was on the call floor. Hours of work leave you with no family life. Webhelp to keep the contract promise Vodafone unrealistic targets, then expect the under trained and under valued staff to achieve them.
Pros
Your downtrodden colleagues
Cons
Management. Team leaders. Expectations. No life.wages. hours worked. Break times.

Avoid like the plague
I rarely write reviews but I've never had a job that I've been so unhappy at. In the early days my manager asked me to be honest about what I thought about the workplace in general I mentioned that sometimes I felt she was a little unapproachable, this was used against me in every instance afterwards. Holidays can not be booked and you lose out on your annual leave and they put this down to 'this is our busiest time'. everyday I checked my system I realised that they had taken a number of hours from my annual leave even though I did not get one holiday whilst there. The management was atrocious and anyone with a voice was immediately shot down and dismissed. The managers would like to prove their authority and outright treat you different just to prove the power they thought they had. If you're looking for any kind of stability I would avoid this place as they dismiss you for looking at them wrong. I had one occasion, where I was just sat with a friend with my headset on talking about schooldays, I was not on a call but a manager started eavesdropping through my headset and questioned me about things I did when I was 15. I had a sick note from my doctor and was off for just under a week due to personal reasons, my manager said that if I did not tell her what was happening in my personal life she would disregard my sick note and put me down as awol which would lead to a disciplinary meeting. I am so glad to not work for this company anymore and would not recommend to anyone
