Fleet controller (Former Employee) – Richards Bay, ZN – 19 August 2015
Monday day shift where we have to submit our time sheets and monitor the shift and i am also expected to attend the customer meeting. I have learn to do things on time so as to reach the cut off dates. I have manage to make sure that my employee under my control can work on their own without any person behind them.
I have managed to build a team spirit among the worker so as to work hand in hand.
The hardest part of my job is when i have to dismiss a person or when a serious accident occur.
The enjoyable part is at year end when we go for vocation with my shift. here we see true colors of each and every person.
We do not have lunch times as we are working 8 hours.
It is pain full to work long hours because we are not paid overtime.
